Flood status last changed: Tue, 25 Aug 2015 16:21:00 GMT West Cornwall Rivers
Due to the changeable forecast, heavy rain is now expected from later this evening and continuing through the night with widespread totals of 15 to 20 mm likely. Some intense downpours are possible, although there is considerable uncertainty as to which locations will be affected. Depending where heavy rain falls, early indications are that rivers will peak in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Rivers are very responsive with smaller watercourses and urban catchments particularly reactive. We will continue to monitor the situation and will update as necessary.
