Paul Westaway created a poll.
Please note the poll has now closed
Hi All,
This is the reason I am looking for local charities,
The Co-op is launching a new card in the Autumn, which amongst other benefits will enable Members of the Co-op to donate 1p in every £1 spent on Co-op products, to one of three local charities.
The vote
Please only vote if you are a member of the Co-op or intend to join when the new membership is launched
The reason for the poll, which will follow, is to find your favourite local charities.
The three with the most amount of votes will be put forward to the C-op for approval,
The next two will be held in reserve (in case there is an issue with the one or two of the first three.
Some of the nominations do not appear on the poll for the following reasons;
1, they are not a registered charity
2, they are not local.
3, they have an income over £500,000 a year
4, I have been unable to contact the charity to confirm the above.
I have to complete the vote by this weekend so the system can be set up by the end of this month, when the staff will be getting their cards.
