HAYLE PENWITH U3A:

Hayle U3A has the following programme this week.  Today, Thursday September 29, at 10am there is History and Writing then at 2pm the Social event "Memoirs of a Jobbing Diplomat" with Vic Wallis takes place.  On Tuesday October 4 at 10am there is Art then at 2pm Poetry Reading. All sessions except Writing are held in the Philip Smith annexe to the Hayle Day Care Centre.  The Writing is held in Hayle Library.

EVENING OF ENTERTAINMENT:

Hayle Friends CHSW are holding an evening of entertainment at the Badger from 8pm this Saturday October 1. Music by Proper Job and raffle and easy quiz sheet. Please support Little Harbour and have a great night out.

CORNWALL COUNCILLOR SURGERY ­ CHANGE OF TIME:

Cornwall Councillors John Coombe and John Pollard share surgeries on the first Saturday of each month. Drop in for a chat or to seek advice.

The next surgery is this Saturday October 1 at the Hayle library/One Stop Shop, Commercial Road; between 11.30am and 1pm ­ sorry for the later time.

ZUMBA:

Come and enjoy some Zumba with Catherine every Tuesday at Phillack Church Hall, starting at 11:30am until 12:30pm. Call 07528135146 for more information.

HAYLE TWINNING ASSOCIATION:

The Association shopping trip to Exeter on Saturday November 5 only has 12 seats left so anyone wishing to travel with them should please call Maurice on 01736 753341. Pick up points and times are, Camborne Tesco at 7:45am, Treloweth Close St Erth at 8am, St Erth church at 8:02am, Mellanear Road at 8:04am, Barclays bank at 8:08am, Copperhouse at 8:11am, LIDL at 8:15am. The coach will leave Exeter at 4:15pm and should be back at around 7pm. The cost is £15p.p. so do give Maurice a call.

ST ELWYN'S CHURCH:

On Sunday October 2, the nineteenth Sunday after Trinity the Parish Eucharist will be celebrated by the Reverend Sharon Chalcraft at 9.30am.

On Wednesday October 5, Said Eucharist will be celebrated by the Reverend Sharon Clifton at 10am.

ST.JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, HAYLE:

St Joseph's Church in Hayle is part of the Roman Catholic Parish of the Holy Family. Father Philip celebrated the 6.30pm Mass on Saturday September 24 when the readings were from Amos - Timothy and gospel by Luke.

There is Mass this Friday at 10am.

Harvest thanksgiving at church Saturday/Sunday October 1/2.

The Russian Choir from St Petersburg will be visiting again for another excellent evening of music on Monday, October 17 at 7.30pm. They are not to be missed!
