You will then be invited to either book your swim post exercise class and/or join me for a refreshment from Riviera Cafe for some community connection and conversation.
Please note, if you are staying to swim or coffee/tea/refreshments, this is not included in the free offering, and to be funded yourselves.
Every two weeks starting Thursday 2nd July, 10.15am
I look forward to inviting you all along for this mindful movement and community connection project.

Kernow Education Advice Line - Cornwall Council
???????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????? ????????????????
KEAL has been introduced as part of Cornwall’s ongoing response to the Family First Reforms, providing an early point of access for clear, impartial advice and guidance on education-related matters. KEAL is available to support children, young people, parents and carers across Cornwall.
The service is delivered by trained contact workers, jointly recruited and trained by Education and Children and Family Services. The KEAL team works alongside colleagues in the Early Help Hub, MARU and the Family Information Service.
???????????????? ???????????????? ????????????????????????
KEAL provides accessible advice on a wide range of issues, including:
- Learning needs and support
- Emotional wellbeing
- Education pathways and options
Callers will speak directly with experienced advisers who can:
- Offer reassurance and practical guidance
- Help families understand processes and available options
- Support early conversations and help prevent escalation to more targeted services
While KEAL does not replace statutory or specialist services, it plays an important preventative role by helping families navigate the education system and identify appropriate next steps. Where needed, KEAL will also signpost to other relevant services.
Families will continue to be encouraged to raise concerns with their child’s education setting in the first instance. KEAL complements this by helping them feel informed and prepared for those discussions.
KEAL can be contacted using the details below:
Telephone: 01872 324497
Opening hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8:45am – 5:15pm
Friday: 8:45am – 4:45pm
Closed on Bank Holidays
