Overgrown footpath which prevens the drop kerb being used for walking aids, wheelchairs and buggies, 25th August

It is impossible to use the pavement forcing the elderly from the assisted living homes and children in buggies into the road. The drop kerb is hardly visible on the right hand side opposite Tesco. See photo

Crash barrier possibly incorrectly fitted, 25th August

Good morning Yesterday when I was travelling on the A30 Hayle bypass West towards St Erth, I saw a section of crash barrier on the nearside of my vehicle that looked recently repaired/replaced. I would estimate it was a 1/4 of a mile East of the section of road that crosses over the railway line. It was only a quick view as we were moving in normal traffic. I believe I noticed the way the barrier was fitted was so that the following section was on top of the preceeding section not underneath it. I appreciate I only had a quick view, and I may well be wrong . The consequences of a wrongly fitted crash barrier could be fatal, as it doesn't deform and creates a potential impailing situation. I'm hoping this is the correct department to contact. If not please can you redirect or let me know so I can try another route to find the highways department Thank you

11th September 2026 will mark the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in the USA. Hayle-born Rick Rescorla coordinated the evacuation of over 2,500 people from the World Trade Centre, saving their lives but very sadly losing his own in the process.

All are welcome to attend the parade and ceremony to remember his life, bravery and sacrifice - we encourage attendees to walk or use public transport as far as possible as parking is limited and road closures will be in place for the duration.

Reserving Parking Spots, 22nd August

There is consistently cones being put down to reserve parking on this street (I believe its being done illegally and feel its best to report). As a career working for a client on this street, its rather frustrating having to face this each morning.
