Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Hayle.
Emergency services were called to the A30 at Loggans in Hayle following reports of a serious collision at around 2.30pm on Tuesday 19 June.
The incident involved a Ford Transit commercial panel van and a BMW 5 Series.
As a result of the collision, a woman in her fifties from Penzance who was the passenger in the BMW was airlifted to Derriford Hospital.
It was believed at the time that she has sustained serious injuries. Her injuries have since been down-graded and sustained minor arm injury.
The driver of the BMW, a man in his seventies from Penzance and the driver of the panel van, a man in his twenties from Redruth, were both taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Treliske with minor injuries.
The road was closed for around four and a half hours whilst emergency services and Serious Collisions Investigation Unit attended the scene.
Officers from the Roads Policing Team are appealing for witnesses, and would also like to hear from anyone who may have dashcam footage that could assist with enquiries.
